If there is one thing we are all mad for its our training. Whether its on the piste, in the gym or even in our bedrooms there is always ways we can find to improve our strength, speed and technique.
So whilst many of us are training at home and as we transition back to fencing safely at the club we wanted to share some more training tips that you can use at home and some of the warm up activities that you can expect when you come back.
At fencing warm up activities
We will be including light cardio to warm up the body this will include some of the below exercises. Please note that these can be adjusted for all ability and fitness levels to allow you to safely warm up.
- Star Jumps
- Skater hops
- Squat jumps
- Jogging on the spot
Training for you to do at home
Please find below the start of our downloadable workouts that you can do with a stopwatch or any standard interval or tabata timer application. These are all mechanics based training that you can do at home with a stationary target.
